COVID-19 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

All of our offices remain open under full operations at this time.

Screening:  We will be screening every patient and guest for temperatures upon entering the building. Anyone that enters our building must wear a mask or face covering. Patients must reschedule if any of the following applies:

  • Have respiratory and/or flu-like symptoms.
  • Have a temperature above 99.4º F.
  • Have been tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days.

We are currently NOT allowing any guests to accompany patients in any of our clinics, unless medically necessary. Children 16 and under are not permitted in any of our clinics under any circumstances. 

Telehealth Visits: We are encouraging patients to convert their non-urgent appointments to a Televisit which can be done remotely via video chat with the doctor. In order to do a Televisit**, the patient would need one of the following:

  • A desktop computer with webcam and microphone capabilities.
  • An Apple device (iPhone, iPad, Macbook).
  • An Android mobile device (cell phone, tablet).

If you are interested in doing a Televisit or would like to reschedule your in-office appointment for a later date, please call us at 843-723-6111.

**Please note: We are NOT able to do virtual visits for the following appointment types:

  • New patients
  • Pacemaker checks
  • CHF 1-week follow ups
  • Post-surgical appointments (i.e. TAVR, PMC implant/gen change, Watchman, etc.)
  • Follow-up appointments greater than 1 year out
  • Any other appointments that the doctor deems necessary for an in-person visit

New Check-In Process (effective March 23, 2020):

In order to further efforts to keep our patients and our staff safe and healthy during this time, we are beginning a new check-in process which will allow our patients to wait for appointments in their vehicles, rather than the lobby.

  • After being screened at the front door, patients and/or their guest may check in at the front desk. Check-in staff will verify patient’s cell phone number and make/model of the patient’s vehicle so that we can call the patient once the Medical Assistant is ready to room the patient.
  • After check-in staff has completed their process (scanning cards, taking payment, etc.), they will hand the patient any necessary paperwork to be completed in their vehicle during wait time.
  • Patient will be called in and bring all paperwork with them inside the clinic.
  • Patient will see provider and complete the normal check-out process.

The health and safety of our patients and staff remains our first priority as we continue to monitor the spread of COVID-19.
